ASP to EXE Professional is a web utility that lets you compile projects in ASP and convert them to a runnable EXE file. As they are runnable, they can be opened from any Windows, and so you won`t need to have installed IIS (Internet Information Server).
This is very interesting for ASP programmers, as the ASP code can`t be runnable. Thus, if you compile it and convert it to EXE or even to a DLL library, you can distribute it among all your clients.
The process that ASP to EXE Professional follows is this: it imports all the ASP files from a folder you indicate, it selects a database (for example, in MDB) with which the files will interact, it compiles the whole project together and then you`ll have the EXE ready to be run.
ASP to EXE Professional also has a tool to test and check the resulting EXE to verify it works correctly.
